Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Roamable Australia (“Roamable Australia”, “we”, “us” or “the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility
2.1. Entry is open to legal residents of Australia aged 18 years or older.
2.2. Entrants must have access to a genuine Roamable Australia product, which must be clearly featured in their entry.
2.3. The Roamable product does not need to have been personally purchased by the entrant. Products received as a gift may also be featured.
2.4. Employees of Roamable Australia, contractors directly involved in administering the competition, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
2.5. Entries must comply with these Terms & Conditions to be eligible.
3. Competition Period
3.1. The Roamable Australia Monthly $500 Travel Giveaway begins on 1 September 2026.
3.2. The competition will run on an ongoing monthly basis until Roamable Australia advises otherwise.
3.3. Each monthly competition period begins at 12:00am Melbourne time on the first calendar day of the month and closes at 11:59pm Melbourne time on the final calendar day of that month.
3.4. Melbourne time means Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), as applicable.
3.5. One winner will be selected each month.
3.6. If Roamable Australia decides to end the ongoing competition, reasonable notice will be provided. Any valid entries already submitted for an active monthly competition period will continue to be considered unless circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control make this impossible.
4. How to Enter
To enter during a monthly competition period, entrants must:
- Create an original photo or video featuring a genuine Roamable Australia product.
- Publish the content as a post or Reel/video on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube.
- Include the hashtag #RoamableAustralia.
- Tag or mention @roamableaustralia where the platform allows.
- Ensure the post and entrant's account are publicly viewable so Roamable Australia can verify the entry.
4.2. Private accounts are not eligible unless the relevant entry is made publicly available before the monthly competition period closes.
4.3. Each eligible post counts as one entry.
4.4. Entrants may submit more than one entry, provided each entry is a separate, original post featuring different content.
4.5. The Roamable Australia product must be clearly visible in the entry.
4.6. There is no fee charged by Roamable Australia to enter the competition. Normal internet, mobile data or platform charges may apply.
5. Entry Requirements
5.1. All entries must be original content created by the entrant or content the entrant has permission to submit.
5.2. If another identifiable person appears in an entry, the entrant must have that person's permission to submit and allow the content to be used in accordance with these Terms.
5.3. Entries must not:
- infringe another person's copyright, privacy or intellectual property rights;
- contain unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate material;
- contain misleading or fraudulent information;
- falsely represent a Roamable Australia product;
- use stolen or copied content; or
- otherwise breach the rules of the platform on which the content is published.
5.4. Roamable Australia reserves the right to disqualify an entry that cannot reasonably be verified or does not comply with these Terms.
6. How the Winner Is Chosen
6.1. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
6.2. Eligible entries will be assessed based on:
- Creativity and originality
- Quality and visual appeal
- How well the entry captures the spirit of travel and adventure
- How naturally the Roamable product is featured
- Overall alignment with the Roamable Australia brand
6.3. Likes, follower count, views and social media popularity will not determine the winner.
6.4. The eligible entry receiving the strongest overall assessment against the judging criteria will be selected as the monthly winner.
6.5. In the event of a tie, the entry considered strongest in creativity, originality and overall connection with the Roamable brand will be selected.
6.6. Judging will take place within five (5) business days after the relevant monthly competition period closes.
7. Prize
7.1. One monthly winner will receive a $500 AUD spending gift card.
7.2. The gift card is intended for use at participating major retailers throughout Australia, subject to the terms, conditions, restrictions and participating merchants of the relevant gift card provider.
7.3. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash except where required by law.
7.4. Roamable Australia is not responsible for any restrictions, exclusions or expiry conditions imposed by the gift card provider.
8. Winner Announcement & Notification
8.1. Monthly winners may be announced through Roamable Australia's official:
- Instagram account
- Facebook page
- Website
- Email communications
8.2. Winners will also be contacted directly where reasonably possible using their social media account or available contact details.
8.3. Winners must provide any information reasonably required to confirm their eligibility and arrange delivery of the prize.
8.4. A winner must respond within 14 days of being notified.
8.5. If a selected winner:
- cannot be contacted;
- does not respond within 14 days;
- cannot verify their entry;
- does not satisfy the eligibility requirements; or
- otherwise breaches these Terms,
Roamable Australia may award the prize to the next highest-ranked eligible entry, assessed according to the same judging criteria.
9. Use of Entry Content
9.1. Entrants continue to own their submitted content.
9.2. By entering, entrants grant Roamable Australia a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, repost, publish, display and reasonably edit or crop their submitted photo, video and caption for Roamable Australia's promotional and marketing activities.
9.3. This may include use on Roamable Australia's:
- website;
- social media channels;
- email marketing;
- advertisements;
- product and promotional pages; and
- other Roamable Australia marketing material.
9.4. Roamable Australia will not obtain ownership of an entrant's content simply because it was entered into the competition.
9.5. Where reasonably practicable, Roamable Australia may credit or tag the original creator when their content is reposted.
10. Privacy
10.1. Personal information collected in connection with the competition may be used to:
- administer the competition;
- verify entries;
- contact entrants and winners;
- confirm eligibility;
- announce winners; and
- arrange delivery of prizes.
10.2. Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with Roamable Australia's Privacy Policy.
10.3. Entering the competition does not automatically subscribe an entrant to promotional email or SMS marketing unless they separately consent to receive those communications.
11. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & YouTube
11.1. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube.
11.2. Entrants release those platforms from liability arising from or relating to this competition to the extent permitted by law.
11.3. Entries must comply with the rules, terms and community guidelines of the platform on which they are posted.
11.4. For entries made through YouTube, entrants must comply with YouTube's Community Guidelines. YouTube's contest rules specifically require organisers to maintain official rules, state that YouTube is not a sponsor and obtain a release of YouTube from contest-related liability.
11.5. Facebook similarly requires promotions administered through Facebook to include official rules, eligibility conditions, a release of Facebook and acknowledgement that Facebook does not sponsor or administer the promotion.
12. General Conditions
12.1. Roamable Australia reserves the right to verify any entry and request reasonable evidence of eligibility.
12.2. Roamable Australia may disqualify any entrant who attempts to manipulate, interfere with or unfairly influence the competition.
12.3. Roamable Australia may modify, suspend or cancel the competition where circumstances outside its reasonable control prevent the competition from operating fairly or as intended, subject to applicable law.
12.4. Roamable Australia is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incorrectly submitted, removed by a social media platform or unable to be viewed due to technical problems outside its reasonable control.
12.5. Roamable Australia is not responsible for an entrant's social media account being suspended, restricted, deleted or otherwise unavailable.
12.6. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
